Bradenstoke Village Hall meeting – 05/09/26

In early September, WHBT’s Director spoke at a Village Hall meeting in Bradenstoke to update residents on our acquisition of one of the village’s most distinctive buildings. Believed to be a monastic guest house built just before the Reformation, it is a fantastic testament to the previous grandeur of Bradenstoke Priory, now lost.

Residents were able to ask questions and hear about WHBT’s plans to conduct necessary repairs and future use studies for the building, with an eventual goal to house scholarly residencies in the building and promote education in conservation, local heritage and building history.

Many people attended signed up to be WHBT supporters, and we look forward to working with the village as the project progresses!
